General anaesthesia for different types of cases for Paediatric to Geriatric age group., Regional anaesthesia for Joint replacement and Shoulder arthroscopy, Total intravenous anaesthesia for spine sugery for Scoliosis with SSEP & MEP monitoring. Epidural analgesia for painless delivery and Oncosurgery and Trauma cases.

Dr Gaonkar pursued his graduation from K.E.M Hospital, Seth G.S. Medical college, Mumbai.

He also worked as a lecturer in K.E.M. Hospital, before starting Anaesthesia practice of 28 years.

KDAH Experience :

Currently working as Consultant Anaesthesiologist he has been associated with Kokilaben Hospital for more than eight years.

He is involved in procedures such as Knee joint replacement and Knee arthroscopy done under Femoro sciatic nerve block for patient of low cardiac ejection fraction, Total elbow joint replacement under Interscalein approach Brachial plexus block, Two cases of total reimplantation of thumb under Brachial plexus block.

He has conducted teaching program in regional anaesthesia for peripheral nerve blocks with visiting international faculty, with direct relay from actual demonstration on patient for students and doctors from other hospital.

He has given Lecture on SSEP and MEP monitoring for scoliosis surgery at CME meeting in K.E.M. hospital, Mumbai.

Participated in debate on Superficial and Deep cervical plexus block for carotid endarterectomy, International conference on Vascular surgery, Mumbai and on regional anaesthesia at K.E.M.

Involved in educational and training programs conducted on anaesthesia for MRI and CT Scan for students and doctors from other hospitals.
