For the first 6 years I trained and worked in premiere institutes in India, and for the last 5 years I have worked in the UK. Having worked in government hospitals in India, with the high-volume patient load and 80-hour weeks, I am sure of my basic clinical skills as an anaesthetist. With the opportunity to work at University college hospital London came the opportunity to work at Harley street and Westmoreland street practices. This enhanced both my clinical and non-clinical skills. I also had the opportunity at UCLH to do a Thoracic anaesthesia fellowship. The advanced training made me more confident in my airway skills. I am comfortable and competent at handling a wide range of cases in general surgery, gynaecology, vascular, thoracic, ENT/Max-fax/Dental, ortho-plastics-trauma, urology, renal transplants, obstetrics, paediatrics, ophthalmology, breast, neurosurgery, diagnostic and interventional radiology, acute pain management and peri-operative care.
