Biography

Dr. Kiran Ghodke has more than 7 years of work experience in hematology, with specialization in Hemato-oncopathology and is currently working as a Consultant Haematologist at KDAH since 2016.

Apart from routine haematology, with haemostasis and hemoglobinopathy work up, he has specialization in hematolymphoid oncopathology (lymph nodes and bone marrow), with high end multi-parametric flow cytometry and molecular diagnostics. He has diagnostic expertise in leukaemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma diagnosis, including minimal residual disease detection in leukaemias (B, T and myeloid) by flowcytometry and in molecular pathology with a keen interest in clinical research applications of the same.

Dr. Kiran has done his postgraduation (MD) and fellowship (Haematopathology) from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, followed by consultancy at Sevenhills Hospital & at SRL, Mumbai.

KDAH Experience

KDAH Hematology laboratory provides routine hematological tests along with complete diagnostic workup for benign as well malignant hematological conditions. Dr Kiran successfully standardized and validated 10 colour flowcytometric assays for detection of leukemia (B-ALL, AML,T-ALL), lymphoma, myeloma along with measurable residual disease detection.

Dr. Kiran has attended many National and International conferences in Haematology and presented scientific papers. He is a member of Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (ISHBT) and The Cytometry Society (TCS). Dr. Kiran has various scientific articles published in international and national Journals.
