University of Baroda and M.D. In Anaesthesiology from B.J.Medical college,Ahmedabad,Gujarat. He completed training in Critical Care Medicine & Neuro-Anaesthesia at Hinduja Hospital,Mumbai and NIMHANS, Bangalore.
