Sir/Madam,
My wife is currently admitted to your hospital in a critical state. She has limitation to speaking and hence her condition demands specialised, all-round care from your nursing staff, HCA, house-keeping, room service and other support staff. She was initially in the ICU and has now been shifted to bed 19 on floor 14.
I take this opportunity to thank each and every one of the nursing and support staffs responsible for her care. They are very nice, cordial and helpful and always present with a smile. Given my wife’s serious condition, staffs are going out of their way to make her comfortable, including talking to her like a family members to keep her motivated and emotionally boosted.
While all the staffs are great, I wanted to mention a few whose names have stuck to my memory. Please note that it is my limitation and a poor reflection on me that I am not able to reproduce the names of all your wonderful staff, rather than a reflection on anyone whose names I have missed out.
The sisters who worked through the three shifts to nurse her: Sigi, Julie, Amitha, Shiby. Each of them are very mild, soft spoken with a smile on their face – this provides a soothing and calming effect on a patient and their relatives. They do not need reminding of her feeding and medication times and also are promptly present when we requested their help for various care needs.
Nurse Manager Sister Irene is an excellent leader and more importantly, speaks with patients and relatives in a manner which soothes them. She is being very helpful and cordial.
Sabina, Kishore and Shailesh, who I believe are HCA (but I may have got their designations wrong) are confident and smart carers who do their job with dedication and precision, along with a smile . Sabina is a highly skilled person and she can act as a role model to others of her profession.
All the staff members are helping to keep my wife comfortable during a very trying time for her and the smile they are bringing to my wife’s face will stay with me forever. I wish them all the best in their lives and hope the hospital management encourage them to excel.
Once again, thank you to all the staffs who are helping us during this stressful and critical phase of ours.
