It’s tough for anyone to live through a cancer experience. When it happens to be at Stage 4 with a very slim chance of survival, things become much more tricky and uncertain. As a 27 yr old medical doctor at the time from Nigeria who understood the gravity of what was at stake, I knew nothing but the best care and intervention was going to save me.

I am hugely grateful to the wonderful team who handled my case and the quality of healthcare I received at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Thanks to their great work, things turned around completely for the better: me and my family rejoice today at being in remission from Stage 4 colorectal cancer since September 2018. I am healthy and live well now, so much so, I wrote a whole book about my cancer journey!

My sincere thank goes especially to Dr Imran Shaikh my oncologist, Dr Mahesh Menon my pain specialist, Dr Ismail Attar my urologist and Dr Rajendra Sonawane my surgeon. Their treatment plan and empathy was invaluable and very much appreciated.
