Rehabilitation Programs

• Neurorehabilitation

  Rehabilitation for strokes, brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease and other neurological disorders. Restore movement, balance, co-ordination, speech and independence by designing short term goal directed therapy programmes according to individual‘s level of recovery.

• Musculoskeletal & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

  Rehabilitation of post operative, fracture and joint replacement, ligament damage, long standing back and neck problems, sports injuries. Using a treatment programme based on manual therapy, specific rehabilitative exercises and functional training to restore strength, mobility and return to activity of daily living or sporting activities.

• Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation

  Heart attackDesigned exercise protocols for Post attack using, after cardiac surgery, or having had COPD or various other chronic lung or heart diseases. Provided supervised exercise, breathing retraining and lifestyle information to support and enhance increased tolerance, relief of symptoms and decrease re-admission.

• Pediatric Rehabilitation

  Developmental and Rehabilitative therapy for children with CSV palsy, developmental delay, congenital conditions and injury related disability. Therapy is stage/age appropriate and family are heavily involved.

• Geriatric Rehabilitation

  Concentrated on older people prevention of falls, recovery from fracture, deconditioning after illness, management of age related functional decline. The programs have all of the aim to maintain independence and prevent further injury.

Interventional Procedures

• Pain Management

  Diagnosis and subsequent management of acute and chronic pain originating from the joints, muscles, nerves or spine. The source and severity of pain is ascertained and then the optimum form of treatment is decided such as the optimum drug or imageguided injection modality such as nerve block.

• Spasticity Management

  Management of spasticity and spasms following stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis. Management includes oral medications, injections (if indicated) and collaborative therapy to optimize position and function with as much comfort as possible.

• Botulinum Toxin Injections for Neurological Conditions

  Muscle over activity Spasticity. BT is used for reducing over activation of muscles to the treatment of post stroke, cerebral palsy, dystonia and some movement disorder. BT may be used for other movement disorder or to correct limb position, relieve pain and optimize therapy.

• Electroneuromyography (ENMG) Procedures

  Electrodiagnosis can be useful in diagnosis of nerve compression, neuropathy, muscle disease, and radiculopathy by nerve conduction studies and electromyography. It can result in clear diagnosis and informed treatment plan for many neuromuscular problems.

• Assistive Devices & Technology

  Assessment and prescription of orthoses, prostheses, mobility aids, wheelchair and assisted devices. Devices are individually designed and fitted according to patients’ needs and aspirations. Follow-up to ensure correct fitting and functioning in everyday setting.

Specialized Therapies

• Physiotherapy

  Custom designed exercise and manual therapy programs for restoring strength, flexibility, balance and movement to the neurological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary and post surgical patient.

• Occupational Therapy

  BDL Promote independent functioning in the areas of: dressing, bathing, shopping and work. Provide Adaptive Skill training or use of Adaptive Equipment where appropriate.

• Speech & Swallow Therapy

  Assessment and management of speech, language, voice and/or swallowing deficits after stroke, brain injury or other neurological disorder. Programs that are designed to optimize communication and to promote safe, efficient swallowing.
